Poona Hospital & Research Centre started its Ayurvedic Department in 2019 with the objective of providing research- and evidence-based Ayurvedic treatment. The main aim is to provide effective and economical healthcare services. The panel of experienced Vaidyas are pioneers in Nadi Parikshan (pulse reading) and are the best in their respective fields.
We focus on each specialty and have on board specialist Ayurvedic consultants for respiratory disorders, spine disorders, skin disorders, infertility, diabetes, etc. The department is well-equipped with upgraded Panchakarma facilities and has an in-house medicine dispensing unit.

The department organizes various health-related camps, e.g., Piles & Fistula with the Ayurvedic specialty of Ksharsutra, Agnikarma for pain management, and Suvarna Prashan for children. With a main focus on “Prevention, Cure, and Wellness,” we organize various public awareness talks.

To upgrade and enhance the knowledge of Ayurvedic students and doctors, the department emphasizes conducting various CMEs (Continuing Medical Education programs).

The ultimate motto is to provide the best possible service, heal individuals with classical Ayurvedic treatment, maintain and retain the health of the healthy, and to create awareness of Ayurveda at the individual level.
