Social Initiative | Free health camps | Poona Hospital

The Hospital was founded under the aegis of Rajasthani & Gujarati Charitable Foundation, a registered public charitable trust.

The aim was to provide quality medical care at reasonable cost to the public & also to give free and concessional medical care to patients from the lower socio-economic strata.

Free health camps, outreach programmes and medical education form an integral part of the hospital functioning.

Approx. 40% of the total beds are general ward beds, mainly occupied by the patients receiving medical care at concession or free of charge.

In gratitude to the religious gurus who inspired this endeavour into the field of medical service; it gives us great satisfaction to provide medical care to all Guru Maharajs free of monetary consideration, in a separate wing specially set aside for them.
